Day 1 in Korea
>> Friday, May 18, 2007
In this post, I'd like to share with all our readers the beauty of creation, taken from the airplane. The first day at the Paju English Village, where we had our competition was without meals, so we had to buy our own food.
- I managed to catch the sunrise on the way to Korea. At that time, it was around 6.30am in Korea & the sunrise was gorgeous!
- A mash of pictures taken when we landed in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, & when we landed in Korea.
Clockwise: all UMP participants & officers at the KLIA before we left for Korea, transiting in Sabah for 1 hour, approaching the Incheon Internatinal Airport in South Korea, & at Daehwa bus stand waiting for the bus to Paju.
As for lunch, we had sandwiches, the cheapest thing that we could find at the English Village in Paju. I had to pay 3,700 won (equivalent to RM15) for a sandwich, which I could get for roughly RM6 in Malaysia!
- Vegetarian sandwich
- Honey ham sandwich
That's all for Day 1 in Paju. I will upload more pictures & stories tomorrow! Stay tuned!
- Ruth
