Che Go Korean BBQ Restaurant
>> Friday, May 30, 2008
Anne & I met up with our uni gang for dinner yesterday. It has been quite some time since we last met (we met up at Bumbu Bali the last time), & meeting up was just awesome :)
We ended up at the Che Go Korean BBQ Restaurant at LG2, new wing in Sunway Pyramid. Our initial plan was to have dinner at the Magital Theatre Restaurant (MTR), but it was under construction, so we had to decide on either Pasta de Gohan or Che Go (both serve food at more reasonable prices as compared to the rest of the restaurants around, plus, the gang prefer pasta & Korean food more than others).
This Korean BBQ restaurant serves quite delicious food & the service is nice :) This, I can guarantee it. I'll just let the photos do the talking ;)
I felt that it was a good deal cos at the end of the dinner, we were SOOO stuffed although it didn't look as if there were a lot of food :P
It was quite comfortable although it's just sitting on the floor (and dangling your legs under the table :P)
This was what Wen had. It was kinda nice :)
Really 'kau kau' kinda tea
Korean rice cake cooked in special spicy sauce & Korean glass noodles
Korean Ginseng Chicken in Soup
This soup is really authentic. You can seriously taste the ginseng! :)
Korean Dumpling in Soup
Seaweed soup with 2 dumplings
White rice (RM2.00/bowl if ordered ala carte)
Korean rice is somewhat similar to Japanese rice. It's a lil sticky, & chewy too!
Bibimbap
Rice with veggie, egg, meat, & special spicy sauce served in a hot claypot
Korean Pancake
Pancake with spring onions, carrots, onions, served with a special savory dip
We didn't really fancy this one as it is a lil too thick in texture for our liking
The BBQ pit
BBQ-ing the veggie & mushrooms
The final turn on the BBQ pit! Yums!! This is really good :)
The 3 of us had a surprise indeed...
Happy Birthday (and belated) to Joey, Wen, & Ruth! Thanks loads to Anne, Yo, & Fen for this wonderful surprise :) Love this gang loads!!
See...now you know why Anne & I love food, adventure, & friendship? :) With such friends & wonderful food available, how would we not love these things? Haha...
Stay tuned with The Ruthless Eaters!!

This is the final part for Cameron Highlands! *yay* The last day of camp was quite a relieve, though in the end, I kinda miss the kids, the cool environment, the people, & all the time I had to have fun! *sigh*
I'll go to Cameron Highlands again! The cool air is too good!!
Care to have a nice, hot cuppa tea in the cool environment beside the tea plantation? *mmm* Tea, scones, & all food stuff sold here are quite pricey though. Here are some of the items sold there:
- Fruit Tea (Strawberry, Orange, Lemon, Black Currant): RM8.00/pot (S- 2 cups), RM14.00/pot (M- 4 cups), RM18.00/pot (L- 6 cups)
- Cameron Valley Tea: RM6.00/pot (S- 2 cups), RM12.00/pot (M- 4 cups), RM16.00/pot (L- 6 cups)
- Hot/Ice Lemon Tea: RM4.00/cup
- Ice Tea: RM4.00/cup
- Teh Tarik: RM3.00/cup
- Scones (set of 2 scones, jam, cream): RM12.00

Ah...finally all 3 posts on Camerons are done! I'm dead tired :S Stay tuned for more food, adventure, friendship!!

Cameron Highlands (Part 2)
I reckon this post will show you more flowers than the previous post. Haha... basically, Day 2 at Cameron Highlands was spent indoors with the children, so I didn't have much photos to snap.
We wanted to visit the Boh Tea plantation at Sungai Palas, above Brinchang (where we stayed), but it was just SOOO jammed that we can't get anywhere, so we landed up at the Cactus Point nursery *sigh* I was really disappointed that I can't go to the tea plantation!! :(
Do you feel like you're not on a Food Blog anymore?
Hahaha...food, adventure, friendship - PerutBesi has to live up to its name!! We're not just about food (though that's our main focus), but on adventures that we'd like to share with our dear readers! :)
Stay tuned for Part 3!!
