Date: 2 November 2008, Sunday
Venue: D'Lish, Bangsar Village 1
Occasion: Lunch with Junie & EB!
Overall comment: Good food, good ambiance, & prices aren't too expensive! Awesome :) Thank you, EB for the wonderful meal & Junie too for the fellowship!!

D'Lish's Range of Pies & Salads

Lovely Salads...
It didn't look all that interesting, but mmm....it tastes good!

D'Lish's Range of Desserts
If you happen to pop by this cafe, just looking at the desserts make you drool... :P

Choice of 3 Different Salads (RM15.80/serving)
We took the Roasted Potato Salad, Mixed Grilled Vegetables with Pesto, & the Balsamic Wild Mushroom Salad...awesome...

Moroccan Roast Chicken with 1 Side Dish (around RM16.80/serving)
The quarter roast was well marinated :) I like the tangy taste of the orange sauce that accompanied the yummy roast chicken...it's way better than Kenny Roger's Roasters & Dave's Deli :P The side dish that we chose was the french beans with wild mushrooms salad...that was quite nice too! *yumyumyum*

Chicken Bacon Spaghetti Carbonara (RM 13.80/serving)
Not too chessy 'til you feel 'jelak'...just nice...oh, but it lacks ground black pepper to give it a "kick"! :D

Chocolate Raspberry Brownie (RM8.80/serving)
I love the slightly cripsy outer layer of the chocolate brownie, which when you dig into it, is still steaming hot :) There are bits of raspberry to give the rich chocolate brownie a 'tangy'/sourish taste, while the vanilla ice-cream that tops the brownie makes it a lovely combination of the cold & hot. The hot chocolate fudge gave the brownie extra points too!! :P *drools*

Tiramisu in a jar! (RM8.80/jar)
I've never had tiramisu from a jar!! It's lovely!! The coffee taste doesn't over-power the cheesiness, & the cheesiness isn't too strong to put you off! *yums!!*

->rowan: It is pretty good! But somehow I think the typical Italian restaurants would be better :P Their desserts & salads were lovely though! :D Must try!!
