Face to Face, Damansara Perdana

>> Sunday, September 14, 2008

Anne & I finally got to meet up again with Yo & 2 friends :) Yo wanted to spend the day shopping for clothes, so 4 of us girls tagged along :)

Frankly speaking, I'm not very much a shopping person, & they know it very well...I just met up with them to spend some time with them since I haven't met Yo for quite some time now. We had lunch at Damansara Perdana, & checked out some boutiques there, before heading to Damansara Uptown for more boutique-hopping! Quite fun la...but I just go see-see, then end up sitting down waiting for the rest to finish trying out clothes :P

Venue: Face to Face Noodle House
Location: Damansara Perdana - Jalan PJU8/51, Perdana Business Centre (same row as MK Land office). There are many other branches in Cheras, Seri Kembangan, & all over Selangor.
Famous for: Pan mee
Overall comment: The ambiance of the place is fairly nice. I just feel that it's a lil old & could do with some face-lifts, especially their menu! The food is not too bad in taste, & the portion is actually quite large. If you are a small eater, a small bowl of noodles will suffice. If you can really eat a lot, perhaps a large bowl will satisfy...and it's just only adding another ringgit anyways ;)

The Menu

Step by Step Instructions on Mixing Your own Special Pan Mee

Featuring: House Specialty Hot & Spicy Pan Mee

This is how the dry house specialty pan mee looks like (RM5.80/large bowl)
To enjoy the best of the noodles, add some house-special chilli & mixed all the ingredients together...just like how it is described in the menu. This variant of noodle is not too bad la, but it's a bit dry :S

House Specialty in soup style (RM4.80/small bowl)
Add the house-special chilli into the soup & enjoy the noodles!

Dry Pan Mee (RM4.80/small bowl)

ABC
Nothing very spectacular to shout about. It's not too sweet as well, but there are not enough 'gems' with the ice shavings to give the ABC a kick! :D

Lok Mei Dessert (RM2.00/bowl)
The dessert wasn't too sweet. If you like your dessert sweet, then this will be tasteless to you. It's somewhat different from the usual 'lok mei' desserts found elsewhere. I reckon we much prefer the usual ones than this one :P
