Uncle Snacks Corner, Amcorp Mall

I'm on a search for some reasonably good food at Amcorp Mall. Since I'm stuck here for one week, I might as well do a bit of food-hunting here...teehee...
I met one of my church members yesterday at Ka Fei Dian kopitiam & she told me that Uncle Snacks Corner, Level 3, Amcorp Mall, has quite a good variety of food at pretty good prices. I thought it would be a good idea to save my pocket since I spent so much on food last weekend down south! :P

Uncle Snacks Corner
This place as she told me has indeed a substantial variety of Chinese food. For our Muslim readers, don't worry, it's halal :) If you're more keen on Nasi Lemak or Tom Yam, they have it here as well! There are at least 6 set lunches to choose from, with prices ranging from RM5.30/set - RM7.80/set. They also have meals served ala carte to spoil you for choice :)
Uncle Snacks Set Lunch Menu
I ordered the Tom Yam kuey teow & a bowl of hot 'fu chuk yi mai' dessert (sweet dessert of beancurd sheet with barli), while my colleagues ordered the Cantonese fried, Yee Mee soup, mee hoon soup, & fried mee hoon.
We felt that the food there was rather salty to our liking. Service was definitely great though! We waited for only 5 minutes to get our bowl of noodles! (this didn't apply to my Tom Yam :( ) On the overall, the environment wasn't too bad, but we thought the quality of food could be much better. I was rather disappointed that the Tom Yam wasn't sour & spicy enough, and was too salty :( Nevertheless, I have to commend the dessert! The 'fu chuk yi mai' was very smooth & it wasn't too sweet!! *thumbs up for the dessert*
If you're looking for some Chinese food while at Amcorp, this place isnt' too bad to have a meal. Just make sure you request for 'less salt' in your meal! :D
