Hauen Khon Korean Restaurant, Amcorp Mall (Part 1)

>> Thursday, May 8, 2008

I had Korean food for lunch today! *yay* Thanks to Joey, who told me that there's a decent Korean food outlet at Amcorp, I actually had a good lunch with Mike! :)

It was like a 'walk down memory lane'. I miss Korea!! I look forward to the day where I can fly off to Korea again, & this time for at least a 1-week holiday. *sigh* I need the cash man...anyways, on the Korean food that I had today, I actually ordered a Dol Sot Bibimbap, which is bibimbap (warm white rice with sauteed & seasoned vegetables, beef/chicken. a fried egg, & gochujang [chilli pepper paste]) on a hot claypot, while Mike ordered the usual Bibimbap cos he doesn't like raw egg :P

The Dol Sot Bibimbap was actually quite tasty, but really hot! It took me a really long time to finish the whole bowl! *lol* I love every bit of the Dol Sot Bibimbap! :P The entire dish is fragrant & it's not very expensive either; just RM14.90 for the whole set! The Bibimbap was slightly cheaper. If I recall it right, it's RM13.90 for the set :)

I would recommend those who fancy Korean food to have their meal there. Their service, I feel, is really good & I doubt you'll be disappointed with the dining experience there :) It's not the best, but it's surely good! Oh ya, the cheapest set meal that you can get there is the fried rice set, which costs only RM6.90/set!

Note: Prices shown excludes the 5% government tax & 10% service tax

Dol Sot Bibimbap (RM14.90/set)

Bibimbap (RM13.90/set)

Drinks: Cold Green Tea (RM1.50/glass) & Sarsi (RM2.50/glass)
